Fair enough upto the green bit, but then we're into "how much extraneous information can I get into this sentence" territory. And it must be said, the journalist in question did a damned good job: "[a girl], who looked very much like the "Pop Factory" participant Maria Rzhevskaya, who gained fame thanks to a song about what would happen when she became a pussy cat."
