Supposedly serious coverage of the shooting in the head of Diskoteka Avariya's lead singer, Aleksei Serov, from NewsProm.ru:

Fair enough upto the green bit, but then we're into "how much extraneous information can I get into this sentence" territory. And it must be said, the journalist in question did a damned good job: "[a girl], who looked very much like the "Pop Factory" participant Maria Rzhevskaya, who gained fame thanks to a song about what would happen when she became a pussy cat." Maybe it's just me, but adding this information in seems a little bizarre, but that the zheltaya pressa for you: more gossip please! It is being speculated that the poor bloke got shot as a result of having changed production teams... Join the army - less dangerous than being a Russian pop star...
