ILGA reports that Warsaw Pride in Poland has been banned by the city's mayor, although organisers are planning to go ahead with the march on June 11 anyway. AAP has an overview of the situation. ILGA also has a petition protesting against the ban on its site.
Meanwhile, it looks like things have flared up in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, once more, with reports of outbreaks of fighting when a crowd of around 200 storming the Supreme Court, forcing a group of opposition protestors who have been there since April to flee. Mosnews reports that unarmed police and soldiers were left to separate the crowd and the protestors, who had occupied the building on April 25 in support of parliamentary candidates who were allegedly disqualified from standing on false pretexts in an attempt by the government to ensure victory for pro-regime candidates. According to Interfax, the crowd was made up of units of the Kyrgyzstan People's Militia. Ferghana.ru puts a slightly different angle on it, both in terms of numbers and motivations as well as subsequently that a state commission now being held in the building of the Supreme Court.
There's also reports that China is willing to deploy troops to Kyrgyzstan to help maintain stability in the republic, according to KyrgyzInfo and Mosnews. Interfax, however, says that the Chinese Foreign Ministry has denied the reports.
Pomaranch reports (via Birge!) that there will be an internet conference with the secretary of the Ozod Dekhkon (Free Peasant) party, Nigara Khidoyatova, who is one of the leaders of the Uzbek opposition.
